I had an idea for a pedal design and it basically involves putting a black silhouette of a character onto the enclosure (I won't say who because it would ruin the surprise if it works). 8) I'm planning the image to be about 5x3.9cm. Would it work using the inkjet decals or should I pay for vinyl?

I have had great success using LaserJet decal stock at the local Office Depot print shop.  Their LJ printer really loads on the color, and does such a good job, it is hard to distinguish the LJ print from the test print they did on glossy paper.  And, at $0.94 per print, it is well worth it IMO.

Just bring your graphics on a floppy, and they will do the rest.

I've been curious to try the *white* decal stock sold here:

It has a white laquer film so you can print light colors over dark paint finishes.
