weird TS problem

I built a TS -like crkt. I used the dynamic OD clipping switch and the fat boost mod. If play on the LED clipping or no diode clipping modes, them toggle down to the back to back 1n914 diode I get regular amplitude for a seconed and then it's deminishing abruptly... also this happens if I paly on the 1n914 mode with a small amount of gain and then increase the gain - the over volume stays for brief moment and then, again deminished abruptly... what's wrong?

P.S. - It doesn't have enough volume, and I know the cold lug of the Vol. pot is connected to the 4.5v rail...

I don't know about with GE clippers. but a TS should have plenty of output.
 There must be a reason the output is low, or if you were talking about using the GE's side being low volume.
 I'm not that good with the unwanted volume swell dignoses,Maybe an electrolytic is acting up? ...what to the pin voltages read on the OA.

A schematic would help, can you post one? And what voltages do you measure at the opamp pins?
