Hello,
I have built this schema http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/bb.gif  with 27K and 33K option. Then I compared with a original Black Box BluesBreaker and I noted that the volume of original BB goes higher.
Anyone could help me?
Thanks,
David.

Just curious...how much higher?
:P  I'm sure there's mods to lower the output of the original...lol...
Differences in actual values because of component tolerances?

I think the original BB has 15 to 20% more volume at top. I do not think that´s components tolerance, I saw inside of original BB and they use the all axial capacitors (maybe mica or polyester..!?!?!) like resistors. But the values is the same as the schema...

If this Is the case, which I suspect it is, there are not many other variables to account for such a volume difference...

Yes, I´m suspecting that maybe there´s one kind of capacitor that is responsable for that.... I gess. If anyone has built the BB based on original, please, let me know.
Thanks.
David.
