My next project uses the following caps: 1nF, 15nF, 220nF, 470pF, 4N7, 100nF. From looking around here, I guess the 1nF is actually a .01uF and 15nF is .015uF. Right? If thats right, what about the 220nF, 470pF and the 4N7? I'm trying to figure this out as much on my own but I think I need some help. Thanks for any help I get.

Arno van der Heijden

1nF = 0.001uF
15nF = 0.015uF
220nF = 0.22uF
470pF = 0.47nF = 0.00047uF
4n7 =4.7nF = 0.0047uF

The above link for electronics2000uk is a really useful software package called Electronic Assistant. It has a unit conversion calculator, resistor color code calculator, capacitor code calc, and some other nifty stuff too. It's free!
