Easy face OC44 question

After building an EasyFace, I tried running an OC44 Germ. transistor in both trans. sockets. After adjusting the trim pot, I like the sound I'm getting out of it. My question is will running the OC44 in the silicon socket hurt the transistors? They are PNP and the red battery wire is connected to the ring of the input jack. Thanks for any advice.

as long as you set the circuit up for PNP operation, and can still get 4.5v on q2's collector you arent going to hurt anything...enjoy the fuzzy goodness!
