I've been looking over the information about this pedal and I want to build one. I was wondering about one thing though. It has 3 variable resistors listed as trim. I haven't run into this yet and I was wondering if these need to be internal trim pots or if I should use externally adjustable pots. If I use regular pots I'll wind up with 8 knobs on this thing..........wow, that's kind of intimidating. I look forward to hearing from you guys soon, especially RDV as this pedal is your baby.
thanks,
Ben

You could make any of them outside knobs you want. The most useful as an outside knob is the SAT control which adds resistance to the Vr conection to the 2nd set of diodes which depending on how it's set either makes the pedal sound nice and open or highly compressed. The lite version is much less knob intensive and sounds pretty good too. I would do a search on all the posts on these circuits before you start though.
