I was wanting to add a on/off switch to the little ruby- i assume this would be a spst? and where would i connects those leads? :)

You can use the spst to break the +9V supply.

when i made my little gem, i put a mini spdt switch to the hot wire from the battery/adapter.. then added a resistor and a led. ..if that helps  :lol: i even used a wrong resistor.. the led is too dim and i always forget to turn off the amp  :twisted:

Change the resistor to a lower value and the LED will be a lot brighter.  8)
