The Purple Peaker as a Treble Booster.

While testing a Peavy portable amp, I decided to try the Purple Peaker to check how it would sound with this amp.

With only the high switch ON, I found that I liked how it sounded. With the peak being at 4.98KHz on mine, it makes a nice precnce control.

The high frequency could be changed to a higher value, and the result would be a nice Treble Booster without the piercing higher notes that I don't really like.

A Treble Booster with a limit on the highs.

What does the frequency needs to be to call it a Treble Booster?

Ok, I answered my question.

I'm still not decided.

I should try to simulate it with Circuit Sim and compare it with the RangeMaster. I didn't know what to enter to simulate the Fender Strat pickups. Now I know.
