Can anyone recommend an envelope follwer?

Hi all. I built an envelope follower twice hoping it would work. The design is a dud. Can anyone recommend an envelope follower PCB layout that has been built successfully? Nothing too difficult... the Mutron, for example, is more than I wanna deal with.

The MXR envelope filter at tonepad sounds great and there are some mods that you might wanna include. The up/down switch especially in combination with the range mod is really useful since it really expands the sound possibilities. There are some othermods that can easily be integrated into the tonepad layout like variable decay.
