OT- secret weapons, "sleepers"

Hi,
In a recent thread I read of the joys of Arion products, specially the
SAD analogue delay and Tubulator TS clone.
$20 bucks sometimes less, for an ok analogue delay.
I have a wacky favorite of my own- the mighty Greco surf siren.
Its a kind of wah with a 60s cop car siren effect and surf noises!
Fabulously wacky, tacky, and cheesy.I love it . Used it for recording.
 I wonder what other oddities from past and present people have?
Also, what other bargain "sleepers" such as the Arion delay are out there?
Current production models that are underrated or perhaps intergratable  
as shortcuts to cool effect builds ??
