If I didn't know better, hadn't read this thread, and started on the schematic 'Nut Cruncher" I'd have built something with four transistor sockets, and installed Mosfet transistors...
 I thought CMOS looked like spearhead shapes with circle at the tip...
 I have an old 4049 thing down in the shop, I believe it's a buffered CMOS chip.
 The schematic looks good, and pretty simple, not that I'm going to, but I'd have to study up on CMOS wiring to do that one.
 Interesting Looking circuit ! I'd look foreward to hearing some soundclips from anyone that makes them. :wink:
