I'm trying to build the ROG tube reamer for my first build and I opted to use the TL072(I already had one) instead of the 741 that the specs call for.  Do I need to connect the OUT2, inverted-IN2, and the non-inverted IN2 to anything? And if so,  to where? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

If you're using the perf or PCB layouts from the Tube Reamer page, a TL072 will not work.  Those layouts are designed for a single op-amp, while the TL072 is a dual.

yeah, I am using the perf layout. I was hoping I could just get by by using half of the opamp though. Changing the connection from pin 6(741) to pin1(TL072) and changing pin7(741) to pin 8(TL072). I guess it would be easier to just stick with the original layout. Thanks for your help!!!
