Hey guys...

What causes the Idiot Wah to wah....

Is it the introduction of ground to the 'controlling resistor' stage, or is it the resistance of ground to it?

Thanks...

The vairable resistance to ground allows the Twin T filter to be easily tuned. Tuning the filter while playing makes the "wah" sound.

Ok, so let me get this straight.

Say I wired a pot there, innstead of an LDR etc..

Turning the pot from 0k to 50k resistance whilst playing will turn the wah 'up'

Turning the pot all the way back down to 0k Will bring the wah back down to normal?

Thanks Tim

You got it.

Though it's backwards.
