Can someone recommend a SIP (transistor) socket from Mouser?

I'd like to try socketing transistors in most of my future projects -- at least in the first build so I can see how they act with different transistors and capacitors. Can anyone recommend a particular Mouser part number to me?

I'm getting a large order together for them now and would like to add that to it.

Thanks again!

I would say try and get 'em from small bear since he is handing over the info..............

such a nice guy, he'll tell you where he gets 'em! (i believe)

just go with the "socket strip" stuff. It looks like one half of a DIP socket (turned pins). You just snap off as many pins as you need.

Smallbear has it and shows the mouser part number.

Quote from: Fret WireI recommend Small Bear also, but if you're already doing a large order from Mouser, here they are:

Yeah, the lower one is one I like (pricewise). I agree that Small Bear is cool and I will have a "largish" order going in there about the same time. I tend to get the more esoteric stuff from SB and the like while the more basic stuff comes from Mouser, Digikey, Jameco, Allied, etc. If I were just buying a few or just trying them out I'd go with Small Bear though.

Thanks again!
