Hey there.
A friend of mine picked up an old '69 Fender Super Showman...
from what I found out this thing is an early solid state 3 channel amp with built in effects (fuzz, "dimension IV" and tremolo).

check this site if you want to know how it looks like:
http://www.geocities.com/tel_ray/shoman.html

now i'd really like to have some more info on that one...
schematics would be great, as well as a manual or something...
anybody know anything about it?
thanks!

Yep - unfortunately not there...

And: Yes...it's Arno...you seem to know everything. :)
Scary.

I've been wishing I'd find one of these for years.

An amp with a built in Dimension IV? That's about as cool as it gets.

These are solid state amps from a very dark era for solid state amps and Fender, specificially.

You can find lots of information on the Dimension VI echo/vibrato out there, especially if you search Tel-Ray (which became Morley, by the way)

There is a site dedicated just to the magic of the oil can:
http://p200.ezboard.com/btelrayoilcanaddicts

There is a page with photos of a Super Showman there, as well as a messageboard where you can find out anything you need to.
