I came across some extremely useful freeware this morning:

It's a frequency response (bode) plotter that uses your soundcard...I know you'll all be able to put this to great use.  There are many soundcard based oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, but this actually walks through the spectrum for you.

BTW, if you need a soundcard based oscilloscope, try this one:

Enjoy!

That frequency response plotter looks cool!
I'm gonna download that when I get home...  8)

Well - looks like I'm one of the minority of linux users. damn
god said...
∇ ⋅ D = ρ
∇ x E = - ∂B/∂t
∇ ⋅ B = 0
∇ x H = ∂D/∂t + j
...and then there was light

My system locks up on the dx7vb.dll file during the install process.  :(

I did see a linux based oscilloscope.  How about WINE for the plotter?

Not sure about the lockup, I didn't have any trouble.
