I'm building another Bobtavia and was wondering if there would be an advantage (or even an option) to using Germanium diodes in place of the 4 1n914's that the schematic calls for.  Has anyone tried this and would it make any difference? Thanks for any help!!

David

I breadboarded the Bobtavia from the schematic at Doug Hammond's site.  IIRC, it only uses 2 1N34 diodes.  Worked well.  Expect to build one soon.

Hey David, where is Doug's site? I'm looking for his schematic. Thanks

Thanks, Fret!  I don't think I could have remembered that to save my life!
