PC speakers to Guitar Amp

hey guys, i trying to to make a ruby out of my PC speakers wich r broken and work with 6v,,,,, i wanna use the same speakers it has and i wanna use the Silver Rhythm to drive it...... but i have this other IC and i was wondering if any of u guys knows if i can use for the ruby instead of the 386, its a LA4525.............

Use Google or other search engine for the spec sheets. Component spec sheets can be found that way by simply typing in the part number and doing a search, most are in PDF form but some older stuff may be scans of original sheets.

LA4525 is a dual af pre-amp. looks like you should be able to use it for an amp but it is not a direct interchange for the 386. Down load the PDF file it has some good application data.

LM386 can be bought at Radio Shack for around $1.25 (it's one of the few DIY parts most of the stores still stock) They can be orderd online alot cheaper.
