Odd schems on net?

Anyone know the story on the schematics at the page linked below?  To me, the schems for the Rat and Super OD look much different than what I've seen at other sites.  Are they his own versions of these circuits, or are they accurate?  They look like they may be simplifications.

I also can't tell where the 9v enters into the Rat or MXR circuits, based on the schematics.

They are simplifications. They're just meant to show you the basic circuit designs, so they leave out the power connections and the bypassing.

Simplified schems for edu-purpose.

Connect I/O jacks, +V, VREF and they work.
(IMHO sound w/o the buffers better than the originals).
