I apoligize if this has been discussed a lot. I couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for from searching. Can you make decals using the same toner transfer paper used to make PCB's? And if so, does color photocopying work the same way? Anyone tried this with any success?

Would this work?

I've seen the method used with black toner to label 'bare' aluminum boxes then covered with a clearcoat.  I don't know whether color would transfer the same though...I was wondering the same thing as you.

Also, has anyone used this method over paint?  I assume if you tried to iron-on the toner over enamel paint you'd just end up with a big sticky mess but can't say as I have any firsthand experience with it.
