2.1mm 9v jack. Switched?

Hi all. I've got three lugs on these 2.1mm 9v jacks that I came across recently. Is it the type that will cut the battery usage if a plug is inserted? If so, can you give me any wiring clues with the letters I placed near the lugs?

Yes it is...

"A" Circuit Ground
"B" Circuit V+
"C" Battery positive

I recommend checking the connections with a meter, with the unit unplugged,and again with the plug in.
Because, i have seen switched power sockets that had differing pinouts.
Don't ask me how I know this... :oops:
