I built this in a jewelry box I found at a thrift shop, and painted it with black laquer and one of those "Duplicolor" paint pens.  I love the finish, but some dust got in it, I guess thats hard to control outside, and its not too bad.  I have another box just like it which I'm probably gonna put a Tonebender MKII in.

I think the sound is pretty cool, I've been using it with my backup (Peavey) guitar, which has a middle pickup that can be switched out of phase.  Tone all the way back, and out of phase pickup makes it sound a bit like a %^&*ed back wah, except nasty.  VERY nasty.  The explosive sound when you have the volume all the way up on the guitar is pretty crazy.  Good,  simple build.

But I'm selfish, I think of it as a perfect gift for myself when I decide to go "glam".

I built this too, and I got the wah wah thing also. I added extra clipping diodes but it got too mean for my  taste so I removed them  :P .
