Putting MPSA18's instead of BC109's in Fuzz central Axis Wah

Does anyone know what resistors etc.. I would need to change? I only don't want BC109's because they are not available to me at the moment and I just wanna hear how it sounds with MPSA18's.

EDIT: I actually want to do the McCoy wah, so what would I have to do to put in the MPSA18's for that?

I Dont remember seeing the schematic, it seems likely the resistors set the max gain on the transistors and the MPSA18's will work and be low noise. They use them on VOX wahs. Could you put sockets in?

Hey thanks pete. I'll try socketing and swithing the trannies (I didn't know I could do this. I thought they had to be biased correctly).

Thanks,

Nish

They Do need to be biased, and probably will be with a simple swap, no resistor changes...probably...with no schematic, I'm guessing it's an inductor type wah, and similar to Vox or CB wahs.
Socketting isn't a bad way to go in any account tho.
