Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you used lookup-sites to determine equivilent values for transistors you need... If so, which ones?

Thanks

NTE has a cross reference, http://www.nteinc.com/ I'm sure there are more, pay close attention to original specs. Sometimes close enough to NTE, etc. may not be the right choice for you.

Here are some links to find original data sheets.

Antonio, thanks for the link thats one I didn't have. Still need to be carfull though and get the data sheets. Typed in 2N5088 an NPN and one of the returns was 2N5087 same tran only PNP might cause you some grief if you didn't know.
