Guyatone VT-3 woes

I have a Guyatone VT-3 Vintage Tremolo on the bench, and was looking to reduce the signal level (and hopefully some of the treble boost as well) from the effect. I found a topic in the old forum where someone reported that raising the value of R15 would do the trick.

The problem is, in the pedal I have here R15 is part of the output buffer stage, so replacing that resistor will of course not change the effect/bypass level balance. I'm guessing that Guyatone at some point has revised the circuit - after all, it has been known to happen...

Anyway, before I break out the magnifying glass and start tracing, I thought I'd ask around if there's anyone out there who either has a schematic for the VT-3 or who knows anything about this issue. If so, that would be extremely helpful (not to mention time-saving!) and I'd be eternally grateful.  :)
