Hi!

I 'am wondering If it is possible to mod a momentary switch to latching switch?

If some people know the solution, it would be cool!

Yes it is possible.  If you want a press-ON and press-OFF action then you need some form of D type flip-flop with the NOT Q output fed back to the D input (or an analogue equivalent using transistors - perhaps a bistable multivibrator?)  Search for these and see what you come up with.  Sorry, I can't provide a specific circuit.  I'm sure someone else will do better.

Hi, a bistable should indeed meet your needs. You may also need to use a "debouncer" circuit if the switch you are using is a mechanical type. Otherwise the spring contacts will not produce a clean digital signal and the bistable will be erratic. Remember that the output of the bistable will only supply so much power,  so depending on what you are planning to hook it up to you may need  to link it via a transistor or relay or something. The circuits are easy to build and if you email me I will send them to you.
