Big huuuum sound on a fuzz face

If the noise that you are refering to could be called "motoboating", I just had the same thing on the weekend.  
I used the sleeve/ring trick to dis/connect the power supply, but accidentally used the +9V line instead of the 0V/earth line.  So reverse polarity across the electrolytic input cap produced my "motorboating".

PS I was almost ready to give up on PNP neg to ground, but through perserverance I got a good fuzzface that I can run off my regular power supply. :D Now to get rid of that pesky oscillation when it's turned up... :wink:

well, just by looking my circuit, i think that brett have the answer :D
