Hey Everyone,

I recently finished the mods found on the Fuzz Central website to my Boss SD-1. The pedal now sounds wonderful, however, when I step on it, even though the output is at 10 it doesn't give me any volume boost. Sometimes I even lose some volume on it.

Are there any resistors I can change on it that will give me more of a boost? I'd like to have 0 dB be at around 5 or 6 and have a 25 dB increase in volume when it's cranked.

Thanks!
Aram

You should have plenty of volume on that, stock or modified. Re-check your work, go over the trace side of the pcb with a magnifying glass to see if you have any solder trace bridging or broken traces. Check diode orientation also.

try increasing R9 to 47k and/or  reducing R10 to 2k2 or 1k.
You should be getting a boost from the stock circuit, check your mods
