I was wondering which circuits are the best for doing the "Marshall" thing and also which circuits would do a great "Vox Top Boost" impersonation?

Anybody know what's the circuitry in Menatone's TBIAC pedal?

For the Vox, try this:

For a Marshall in a box:
BSIAB II

Marshall Govnr

Thunderchief

The Sansamp GT-2 does nice Marshall, plus Fender and Mesa sounds

Not exactly meant to copy Marshall's but still real nice n' nasty, are ROG's Three Legged Dog and Double D, both 4049 based distortions.

Thanks Fret Wire-

Pretty neat stuff!

No problem. If you listened to Ed Guidry's soundclip on the BSIAB II, you'll notice that it can do a nice low drive sound too.

Don't forget Doug's Vox EXP:

As far as the question on what is in the Menatone pedal, it is a FET-based pedal.
