Hi all

I'm in a the Tonepad TS  project, and there is two 0.22µF tantal cap in the schem.
Can I replace them with Silver Mika without changing the general sound of the TS   .

Thanks

Aharon

When I built mine I was missing one of the tants and I used an 0.22 electro instead(yes, you  can find them in 0.22uF).I used it in place of the one going to ground not the tone control(for that one I would use the mica),don't ask me why,but my TS sounds awesome so I don't think it affects the tone in any negative way AFAIK.

Are you sure you have .22uf Silver Mica caps? 2200pf or .0022uf is the highest value I usually see available.
