Bought this old non working lecturer's podium amp hoping to scrounge some parts from it and maybe use the case for a pratice amp project I'm working on. I opened it up today and inside was a perfect P8R speaker   it looks and sounds like it just came off the shelf  :o  :)  :D :D

I did some research on the net and found some date code info. The code on the speaker is 220242 if I'm reading it right 220 = Jenson's Manufacturer's code and 242 = 42nd. week of 52. Can anybody verify that?

I'm not sure what to do with it now. I'd hate to use a good old vintage speaker like this in a rinky dink SS practice amp. Anyone restoring a Fender Champ? This is the same speaker used in the early 5 Watt.

Also there is a great 110Vac - 12Vdc power supply all nice and filtered, no hum :D no buzz  :D, some nice old knobs and a couple of audio transformers to boot.

 Hey maybe I can put them old antique magic mojo knobs on Ebay and get some big bucks
