"Odie" with a slight volume problem ?

Just built the ROG Odie and i'm really enjoying the sound a lot !
Drive and tone controls work fine, however when the "vol" pot is set to "0" the unit is a full volume !! then with a 5% turn, it turns off abruptly and slowly raises in volume as per normal to the top of the pots travel.
This is not disasterous, just a little "odd" ?
Could it just be a screwed pot ??
