hey guys...

I have a problem with a phase90 that i've built...

It swooshes and sounds excellent however when i'm not playing i can hear a very prominent swooshing oscillation sound thats quite annoying..

It follows the rate of the pahse obviously and is very continuous...

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Thanks

John

Mostly clicking or ticking...not too bad.
Anything [noisey] getting into the front end of the phaser will cause the swoosh to sound. Try unplugging the input and see if it changes markedly.
I used High Precision Low Noise opamps, not that the noise was a big issue with the 'test' TL082's I used even though I checked for wierd voltages on the pins before installing the OA's.
The wiring of the Phaze 90 can cause noise. Are you useing a PCB? Offboard wires kept short?
