Hi,

I've made a small website with some stuff i built.  :)

kaustic machines

Having very basic knowledge of electronics, i like to experiment and i've learned a lot from this forum and runoffgroove, tonepad, generalguitargadgets etc.
The original designs/schemes are not mine but i hope it's ok to publish them. They have somewhat mutated...  :D

Ah yes... and i'm a pretty awful guitar player.

Thoughts welcome!

cheers

Ahhh... I didn't catch it.

I had this kind of symptoms so many times ago so long ago while working on my site that it became second nature to see that as a problem to fix.

If it,s ok for you, it's ok for me...  8)

The white boxes i found in a DIY/handyman store. I don't know what they're called in english, but they're used for electricity cabling...
I needed to shield them with alu foil, but they couldn't go wrong at 1.25 Euro/pc... and the punchout holes are the right size for the jacks. :)

I've made some updates and added a page about the "Vanishing Moon", which is combination of the Vanishing Point and the Tremulus Lune.

There're also new soundsamples...
:D

cheers!

The box for the Vanishing moon is awesome!  I love enclosures that use metal AND wood.

Did you do anything to sheild the box?

Hey thanks! I've shielded it with magnetic paint (following Jack Orman's advice)... it wasn't a spray-can so things are a bit messy on the inside though (i went for the ultra-thick coat).
The box was originally an unpainted picture-frame, which i covered with clear waterpaint  to get a dirty stained look and a few covers of matte varnish.

Superuber beautiful, although a bit cold, like in an filtered atmosphere lab!

Me like much the fake 70's-style Komrad advert!
Me likes the Rrobot in a jar and might built the Atari Pukconsole too!
