Hi,
i've tried to use GGG templates available from the site to draw pcb schematics ( the one with tracks, ic pins, capacitor spacing etc) with ms paint as indicated.
I have a problem and can't find the solution in the program help or tutorial.
Once you download/save the page and open it in ms paint, the image is huge. How can you re-size it to have the exact match of the components it represents? Maybe it is very simple but i have spent hours and still can't find the answer.
As this way of drawing is much simpler than a cad program and enough for my use, i would appreciate any advice from users of this method.
Thanks a lot.
Olivier.

You can use Irfanview to resize your drawings, and once you found the correct size, go back to Paint to work with it.

That's what I did for a long time.

Thanks Gilles, I download it and will give a try.

what i did was copy and paste the layout gifs into a wordprocessor (wordperfect or ms office) ... anything with a ruler will work.
then just resize til the scale on the layout and the ruler line up.
within one or two attempted prints, the printed scales were spot on.

NaBo,
Thanks for the tip. I'll try it when I begin making my own pcb's. Which will be after the new year. :D
