Shielded wires in Fuzz/Distortion boxes?

Do any of you guys make it a regular practice to use shielded wires when building a high gain pedal like a Fuzz box or a Distortion box?

Me, no.
Blackfire liked it better and showed it with less oscillations when I shielded the output wire.
I put switch near jacks, input near switch, long wire ends up as the output wire [to get back to where the swithc is] and got shielded.
If I'm running long lines of signal path, I may shield, because I have it there to use...good an application as any.
For the most part tho, shielding hasn't made much difference at all for me in 1 or 2 circuit per box builds.
