A Green Rhino is being sold on eBay right now (all proceeds going towards the Tsunami victims too), and it has a closeup of the PCB:

Surprisingly, the IC isn't the usual oh-so-mojo JRC4558D, but a National LF353N.  If you look closely to the buffer transistor on the right, you can make out the characters "N2" ...so I suppose they're metal can 2n2222s.

You've got better eyes than me!  In that case, it could be a 2n2484:

Check out the tantalum caps and carbon film resistors.  I thought they had to be polyester film (made from polyester clipped from a shirt worn by SRV), with 0.0000001% metal film resistors.
