Transistor Obsidian Sample

This is my favorite sample so far. It's the original transistor version.

 Obsidian Clip Rocks ! Is that the 'most modern' Obsidian?

Hey Pete, that's with my LP with P-100s, so you know that sucker's got some serious gain. It's the old transistor version, no mosfets in site. It's not the one with the BF in front either. It's got to be one of the best high-gain circuits ever devised!

I'm liking all the samples, thanks for posting them RDV, the Osidian clip sounds great !!
 Is there a schematic available of that particular Obsidian?
 I have an Obsidain here, It seems to be 'right' according to schematic, voltage readings and all the knobs work, just didn't kick me' like that other One I built, long ago, on a bookcover [kinda died and got picked over].
 I want to build another one that whipps booty like the first one I had.
