simple question about caps

Hi !!! Happy New Year everybody !!!!
Quetion: Is there a maximum voltage rating for caps?
I mean, the minimum for effects projects is 16V, but i have a very large number of caps with, 250, 400 and 650 V...can I use them?

Sure, you can use them. They will be physically larger than you really need, though. It may make it harder to build stuff with them and keep a small enclosure. But, you can use them. You don't want to ever, ever use caps rated lower than your operating voltage.
