Schematic Design Software! HELP!

Does anyone here use gEDA for MacOSX?
I am in great need of help with installing it.  I'm not a super-technology geek so I don't know how to install open-source software from shells and what-not.
Please help a brotha out here!   8)
I just need to know how I can install it on my system witha miminum of fuss, I read the tutorials and they're all greek to me :)

I use gEDA but on FreeBSD which I installed from the ports collection. I've never tried it on Mac. Without more information the best I can do for you is offer this:

The best software for schematics (design and simulation) is pr0tel.
I use pr0tel 2004, and I think that that is the best :)
