Paul, yes it is. I forgot to mention it!

SirPoonga, the only offboard component is the battery! (if it's going inside a guitar), and jacks/switch. No sound samples yet, but I'll do them someday

yes you can, but they are:

A bit harder to find.
Easier to fry.
Will not make layout smaller (unless you change it).
And have to be bent at specific points to fit the layout.

Yep, goto Tillman's site. he has it in the end of a cable!
