I guess this is what it looks like when you get your samples order cancelled:

*****************************************************************
You recently requested some semiconductor device samples from Texas
Instruments.  This e-mail is to confirm receipt of your order.  The
status of each device ordered is indicated below:

Part Number            Qty      Status
DRV134PA               5        5 items cancelled on 1/24/2005
INA103KP               5        5 items cancelled on 1/24/2005
INA134PA               5        5 items cancelled on 1/24/2005
*******************************************************************

What a pitty. Maybe I should have put like 2 of each, and not 5 of each? :-)

Here was my latest order I did the other day:

You recently requested some semiconductor device samples from Texas Instruments.  This e-mail is to confirm receipt of your order.  The status of each device ordered is indicated below:

Part Number            Qty      Status
OPA134PA               5        5 items shipped on 1/24/2005
OPA177FP               5        5 items shipped on 1/24/2005
OPA2134PA              5        5 items shipped on 1/24/2005
OPA2604AP              5        5 items shipped on 1/24/2005
TLC2262AIP             5        5 items shipped on 1/24/2005

That's good, but when I went to get some TL071's, TL072's, RC4558's, and RC4559's, they showed them as not offered for samples. Hope this is not permanent.

i'm trying to make a profile over at it.com but i'm not in any company. i'm just a student. is it posible to make account and order samples?
it's working!

Marek

E, moj Mirza,

that's exactly what I did, and... Next time I'm going to put some *important sounding* company name (e.g. MegaTech GmbH or BigShotElectronics GmbH :-) ), just to be sure.

This time it was smth like: Student; Class Project blah blah... NO way. :-)

I am really a student, but that's obviously not the target audience for ti.com samples... They want you to buy loads and loads of those burr browns afterwards.

Pozdrav,
Marek

Once you've had a certain amount of similar items, they are "permanently" no longer available I'm afraid !!
Try a new account and tell them you will be ordering 4,000,000  units !!!

I think TI samples are not too good for us DIY'ers. I need some Dual opamps, but they aren't available any more...(yes, no more TL072CP, or RC4558's.....).

Cheers,

Nish
