they work nicely in fuzz face type circuits...measure the hfe...they'll usuaaly be great for Q2

hmmmm Exelent, but i don't use fuzz effect in my band , but i can build for fun hehe, i like hard clean distortion ....

you could use them in an LPB1 type booster....just use a trimpot instead of the resistor that leads to the collector, so you can make any voltage adjustments necesary...

I'll second the Fuzz Face circuit. They didn't sound half bad in mine.
