What does the LFO mod do to this build?

Imagine that every time the phaser sweeps, you hear another phaser modulating the shape and speed of the original sweep. It's pretty rad, I'd suggest you try it

On the 'hardware' list it includes a DPDT toggle for a 'sawtooth' mod but no other information on where to put it. Does anyone know anything about this? I searched commonsound but didn't find any obvious hits. It must be something pretty simple.
