I remember that discution . this is an old vertion of the gt2 for some people the newest vertion sound better  but ,yes , that`s the right chips.

They're basically biscussing how the guy used the layout with pcb mounted pots and it didn't work and how the tonepad layout worked.

Oh, no problem... It's just that it was more of a debugging discussion rather than mod/adapt kind of thing. So nothing radically new there.

As a dedicated SansAmp user, I eventually want to make one or something similar to it.  Perhaps with different amp models (the "eighteen" on www.runoffgroove.com comes to mind).  I think it would be fun.
