It still amazes me when I see a new schematic posted using a LM308 op amp just to get a slew rate limiting sound. Forget the fact it has 100nv/hz noise!  :shock:

BTW, Small Bear has TL070s that can be used in place of LM308s using an oversize compensation capacitor to get the same sound with a LOT less noise.

Great way to get that sound using discrete devices!

Thanks for promoting the idea of slew-rate limiting. It's an important part of why speakers sound different from so many speaker emulators, even the good ones IMHO.
