hey
i just build the prof tweed (good sound, though i have to change the cap in feedback loop, i used a 1µf, the sound is not bright enough for me) and i've build a poweramp section (a regular 18w 'hifi' amp with 2 tda2003 in push-pull config (http://www.circuitsonline.net/circuits/sch/000011.gif)
bot work fine (connected poweramp to cdplayer: sound is good, preamp to guitaramp), but together sound realy sucks and it's to quiet
how can i fix this? buffer? cabsim??

One thing is that you have to limit the volume from the professor tweed so it doesn't make the power amp chip distort.  That could definitely sound like poo.

Personally, I'd crank the "volume" pot all the way up, and start out with the "master volume" at a minimum, and slowly increase the master volume for as long as the power chip stays undistorted (I'm guessing you'll notice...).
