Is it possible to fry a reverb tank?

I was doing some mods to my amp. I sure I have it wired right, but I think I messed up before I could correct it> But I think my tank is not putting out. It sounds really weak.

Yes, they can be fried, but it's not common.

Use your DMM and read the coil resistances. If one is infinite, it's burned open. If they're under 3K, chances are that it's OK and one of your amp mods is messing it up.
