The BSIAB II is the shit. I built one and it sounded great but I didn't know if I'd really play the thing so I gave it to my good friend Pete whom I owed a little money. Now he rings me up every day, telling me that he can't stop playing and he's gonna sell all his other distortions and shit. Then he brought the thing to rehearsal (we play in a band together) and, hell... I think I'm gonna built me another one.
What's so cool about this, it's alive. The controls are sort of interactive, and there's really lots of great sounds in it, waiting to be explored.
But as usual, it all comes down to personal taste.
