hello, i want to use the millenium bypass like shown at geofex(http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/Millenium/millen.htm)

for the millenium 2, it mentions using a 1N914 or 1N4148 and a low leakage diode, what type of diode would the low leakage one be?

the 2 are the same really. Ive built many of these and for some reason half work and the others dont. I used the j201's so that might be why.

Use the collector-base junction of an ordinary NPN transistor for the low leakage diode. Snip off the emitter lead, use the two remaining ones. Use the collector for the cathode/bar and the base for the anode/arrow.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
